Instructors

The Washington Township Parks and Recreation Department is always on the lookout for instructors to lead new and exciting programs.  If you are interested in conducting a program on a specific subject, please call the office at (317) 574-1074.

 

Volunteer

Giving of your time and talents is one of the best ways to support your park department. The possiblities are endless. We need helpers with everything from recreational programs and event planning to site developement and long range goal setting. If you are interested in volunteering please contact Adina Nelson at the Park Dept. office or use the contact section on this website.

MIDLAND TRACE TRAIL

THE FRIENDS OF THE MIDLAND TRACE TRAIL ARE MEETING EVERY THIRD THURSDAY OF THE MONTH AT THE PARK OFFICE. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN HELPING TO OPEN THE MIDLAND TRACE TRAIL TO WALKERS OR IF YOU JUST WANT TO FIND OUT WHAT IS HAPPENING PLEASE PLAN TO JOIN US AT 5:30PM.

Legacy Fund Community Foundation’s mission is to inspire, support and practice philanthropy, leadership and service in our community.  We are honored to serve as a philanthropic partner to many in Hamilton County, including Washington Township Parks and Recreation. 

Legacy Fund is proud to be the home of a charitable fund for the benefit of park projects in Washington Township. To make a contribution to the Washington Township Parks
and Recreation Community Project Fund, contact David Gill, Park Board President.  You may also send your contributions to Legacy Fund 515 East Main Street, Carmel, IN  46032.
